Druids Glen has hosted the prestigious Seve Trophy, a bi-annual event between the leading Tour Players of Britain & Ireland and Continental Europe.

The Druids Glen Golf Course as the Augusta of Ireland opened in 1995, was the venue the Irish Open between 1996 and 1999, and the 2002 Seve Trophy
